Genesis Rising is a real-time strategy game with many game-play twists. You lead a fleet of organic ships and develop them throughout the campaign, using genes you have harvested from defeated enemies or have bought via trading. You meed numerous alien races and engage them in both conversation and combat.

The whole game is set in space, however you can only play on a 2D plane and unlike games like Homeworld and Nexus you can't move ships vertically up or down. It is a basebuilding game and you collect resources similar to most RTS games, but all units can be configured on the fly, and with accordance with current conditions and objectives. Using "genes" you find from ship carcasses, you "mutate" your own in real time giving them new weapons and abilities. If you wish you can replicate any genes you've found or buy more from allies on the map.

The only resources in the game is blood, which you pump from stations belonging to you right into your own supply. The only other restriction is the maintenance capacity which you increase by invading enemy stations. There are numerous alien races throughout the game, a lot of them controlling organic ships like yourself. The campaign centers around your quest to find the Universal Heart, the source of all life and matter, and thus become a true god.

تمرّد التكوينِ a لعبة إستراتيجية فورية بالعديد مِنْ لفّاتِ مسرحيّةِ اللعبةِ. تَقُودُ a أسطول السُفنِ العضويةِ وتُطوّرُهم في كافة أنحاء الحملةِ، إستعمال جيناتِ حَصدتَ مِنْ الأعداء المَهْزُومينِ أَو إشترىَ عن طريق التجارة. أنت أجناس جائزةِ العوالم غريبة العديدةِ وتَشْغلُهم في كلتا المحادثة والمعركة.

إنّ اللعبةَ الكاملةَ تُحْلُّ فضاءَ، على أية حال أنت يُمْكِنُ فقط أَنْ تَلْعبُ على a 2 دي طائرة وعلى خلاف الألعابِ مثل Homeworld ورابطة أنت لا تَستطيعُ تَحريك السُفنِ بشكل عمودي فوق أَو أسفل. هو a basebuilding لعبة وأنت تَجْمعُ مصادرَ مشابهة لأكثر ألعابِ آر تي إس، لكن كُلّ الوحدات يُمْكِنُ أَنْ تُشكّلَ بسرعةٍ فائقةٍ، وبالموافقةِ بالشروطِ والأهدافِ الحاليةِ. إستعمال "الجيناتِ" تَجِدُ مِنْ جثثِ السفينةِ، "تُبدّلُ" ملكَكَ في الوقتِ الحقيقيِ الذي يَعطيهم أسلحةَ وقدراتَ جديدةَ. إذا تَتمنّى بأنّك يُمْكِنُ أَنْ تُضاعفَ أيّ جينات وَجدتَ أَو تَشتري أكثر مِنْ الحلفاءِ على الخريطةِ.

إنّ المصادرَ الوحيدةَ في اللعبةِ دمُّ، التي تَضْخُّ مِنْ المحطاتِ تَعُودُ إليك حقَّ إلى تجهيزِكَ الخاصِ. إنّ التقييدَ الآخرَ الوحيدَ قدرةُ الصيانةَ التي تَزِيدُ بغَزْو محطاتِ العدو. هناك أجناس عوالم غريبة عديدة في كافة أنحاء اللعبةِ، الكثير منهم يُسيطرُ على السُفنِ العضويةِ تَحْبُّ نفسك. تَتركّزُ الحملةُ حول مسعاكِ لإيجاد القلبِ العالميِ، مصدر كُلّ الحياة والمسألة، وهكذا يُصبحُ a إله حقيقي.

Edit time and costs:

To change these and other values, open Cruciform.cfg in the
\data directory of the game and edit required data.

More blood:

To get more blood and other options, use a text editor to edit the
"game_state.txt" file in the directory that contains your current save
(for example, \genesis rising\save\1\autosave_asteroids@20070330 083944).
Note: Once you change your blood amount, it carries over to all missions.
Starting ships, gene level and more:

to change all kinds of settings for your starting ships and gene level, use a
text editor to edit the "entities.set" file. This is another file that rebuilds
in a new save folder, but again once you change it and that ship is still active,
it carries over.
